As an SDET for the Video QE team, I worked with development teams to build and utilize automated frameworks and tools, to ensure the functional correctness of video content and associated metadata as consumed during playback.Designed and implemented automated tests utilizing Python (pytest) to validate various key ‘Live Pipeline’ APIs and workflows, such as the ingestion, encoding and packaging of live content from vendors, and processing of metadata.Provided support in the launch of Hulu/ESPN+ integration by documenting and reporting the health of 100+ new live channels by leveraging developer tools/scripts to detect issues during live streams.

Developed back-end features for a business-critical web application (Python, JavaScript) used collectively by hundreds of Rackspace employees in technical support, sales and dev-ops to manage customer accounts (e.g., support tickets, contact details, product/server configurations).Wrote CLI tools/scripts in Python to execute ETL processes, consolidating thousands of customer contact records from various data sources into a REST web service as a single source of truth.Prototyped a REST API utilizing Flask, to query/modify customer account details, cloud/dedicated server configurations, and device attributes, in efforts to refactor/decouple services from existing monolithic web application.
