Upon further questioning we discovered that the medications were being purchased from an unlicensed out of state pharmacy. When we asked the scientist why they chose this method they described trying to source the medication for months with no luck. Upon speaking to an old college friend they agreed to help one another. Neither had any experience in national distribution and weren’t aware of compliance issues in their arrangement.We were able to advise them on the licensing they required.
