Scope of the role was to lead the integration of an acquired business into enterprise systems and processes at Zep, a private equity-owned company, and to enhance business operations by evaluating, recommending, and driving change with special focus on sales effectiveness.• Drove the integration of an acquired unit into SAP across order entry, production, distribution, purchasing, and financial and accounting areas. This enabled alignment across the enterprise, streamlined operational procedures, drove cost efficiencies, delivered data integration for improved insights into financial and operational performance, and better leveraged headcount. Budget of over $10M, four vendors, and over 100 resources.• Successfully launched new business systems in 12 months by leading the program’s delivery. Defined the launch approach, set up and owned the program management office (PMO), set priorities, addressed risks, and resolved issues that could have thwarted the rollout.• Supported business readiness by defining the business participation strategy for the program, ensuring key stakeholder engagement and providing information for decision-making at every stage.• Partnered with business and technology stakeholders to define the solution’s application architecture.This program required:- tapping depth of expertise in the wireless industry and in systems planning and delivery- managing in a complex and dynamic environment- operating in a highly diverse and international setting- managing multiple vendors to orchestrate the delivery.
