Raul Eugenio Toro III has earned 2 National Defense Service Medals; 2 Army Good Conduct Medals; 2 Army Achievement Medals; and an Army Commendation Medal. Also, he has held Secret and Top Secret Security Clearances. This is just a few achievements in which Raul accrued over his tenure with the United States Army, in various disciplines within the Department.Air Defense Artillery (1996-1999): He trained in Operating technologies specific to the Bradley Linebacker, operating gun, missile and rocket launching systems specific to the Bradley Linebacker, artillery tactics and battle strategy, map reading, and scouting techniques.All-Army Baseball Team (1997-1999):While on Special Orders from the III Corp Commander at Fort Hood, TX, Raul was the starting catcher for the All-Army Baseball Team (Fort Hood Tankers). The following years he was the co-captain and ended his All-Army Baseball career as a Bench Coach/Player. Intelligence Analyst (2001-2003):Raul has proven expertise in the use of information derived from all intelligence disciplines to determine changes in enemy capabilities, vulnerabilities, and probable courses of action. Raul was primarily responsible for supervising, coordinating and participating in the analysis, processing and distribution of strategic and tactical intelligence. Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician (2003-2004): As a an EODT, Raul was a preeminent tactical and technical explosives technician. He was trained to research and identify ordnance; assist in the preparation and use of advance robotics; explosively disposing of hazardous ordnance or Render Safe Procedures; prepare and maintain tools, equipment and vehicles. Raul was eventually dropped from the EODT training program due to medical conditions.Liquid Logistics (2004-2009):Raul was trained to be proficient in the purification and distribution of water; also, in the distribution of fuel. Also, prepare and maintain tools, equipment and vehicles.
