(BSAQ, Capacity Constraints, Capability Verification, Quality Rejects, Stop Ships, Stop Builds, Field Service Actions).-Drive Supplier continuous improvement and support 6-Sigma and Ford cross-functional matched pair initiatives. -Advanced Product Quality Planning to ensure flawless launch at each build milestone. -Capability and Capacity Verification.-Quality Issues Resolution. -Supply/Capacity and quality Risk Mitigation.-Campaign Prevention.-Bank Quality. -Capacity Planning & Verification. -New Site Assessment execution.-Support execution of global supplier warranty recovery programs. -Support supplier related Field Service Action, and Global Warranty Chargeback processes. -Assist Site STA Engineers and suppliers in utilizing warranty improvement tools.-Lead for Global STA Process Development & Continuous Improvement (general metrics, Site Capability, Q1, PPAP, QOS, APQP / GPDS etc.). -Stop Ship/Field Action reduction process lead. -Business Process Development and Standardization. -Strategy Research and Development.

Represent the Supplier Technical Assistance Site Organization at Company manufacturing plants, direct interface with supplier manufacturing sites for containment and closure of special cause supplier process current model quality by projects, links site engineers to Company manufacturing plants and communicate Supplier Process Issues to Site Organization for closure.- Engage in Early Claims Binning and notify the issues to the responsible supplier.- Lead closure of Supplier Process issues.- Facilitate help needed with Plant Vehicle Team and/or Manufacturing for issue resolution where suppliers need help from the Company.- Manage on-site supplier representative.- Assess capabilities of Resident Supplier Representatives and provide training opportunities where required to improve skillset.- Coach suppliers in development of technical DMAIC for Supplier Process issues.- Review Daily Production Report and communicate production losses and vehicle holds to STA -- Management and appropriate Site STA teams for supplier related issues.- Active participation in Variation Reduction Team forums and Vehicle Quality Reviews meetings.- Active leadership in the enhanced Incoming Quality process for STA responsible actions.- Manage threshold QR and dispute resolution per escalation process. - Ensure Interim Containment Actions, Permanent Corrective Actions and Prevent Recurrence actions are identified & validated for Supplier Process issues. - Execute the Quality QPIP and Kick-Off Top Suppliers.- Deliver Quality & Capacity by ensuring sustainable operating patterns in supply-base.- Manage and reduce Warranty and Stop Shipments, increased speed of Closure.- Improved velocity of supplier process issues contained/closed.- Improve days to permanent corrective action implemented.- Reduce QR’s and Stop Shipments.- Fewer Vehicles on Hold.- Support Program STA Launch Exit plan at the plant for all major programs for alignment on open supplier issues.
