I have already contributed to the concept development, performance assessment and system implementations in the area of LTE, LTE-Advanced and 5G mobile networks within the diverse projects, among others several European projects of FP6/FP7 and H2020 while working towards Self Organizing Networks (SON) in LTE and LTE-A, physical layer, protocols and architecture aspects for 5G.My professional expertise lies in the areas of:• Design and verification of innovative service-oriented cloud networking solutions towards end-to-end 5G mobile networks including Core, RAN and Transport Networks based on Software-defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV) techniques• Contribution on development of Telco-cloud ecosystem and design cloud orchestration and management solutions to realize telecom cloud-related features like Mobile Edge Computing (MEC)• Development of PoC demos to verify and evaluate novel network solutions and specify their features with respect to scalability, flexibility, availability and etc.• Expertize in the field of Next Generation Data Centers and Data Center interconnection paradigm based on SD-WAN solutions• Conducting pioneer projects on the deployment of an end-to-end LTE/5G test and development platforms• Leading consultancies in the area of future and emerging mobile communication systems
