Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Manage operations of the M-G CAFE IT Help Desk to support Kentucky's Cooperative Extension Program and M-G CAFE students, staff, and faculty.- Keep an active log of all Help Desk related activities (calls, emails, and other tasks) for knowledge and reference no matter how small or large the issue.- Resolve technical problems remotely for all 120 Kentucky Cooperative Extension county offices.- Delegate county field techs to provide on-site support when issues cannot be resolved remotely.- Delegate on-campus departmental IT staff to provide on-site technical assistance to their department’s employees.- Provide remote and on-site technical support for all M-G CAFE departments on campus - primarily for College Administration.- Provide assistance to University Students to diagnose and resolve technical issues with their devices in a limited capacity.- Assist other members of M-G CAFE IT with responsibilities such as server maintenance, classroom support, on-site Extension office support, etc.- Create Knowledge Base Technical Support Documentation to be distributed to M-G CAFE Administration.- Assist with a wide variety of technical issues such as networking, Windows and Apple products, print services, web services, class/conference room A/V technology, server equipment, security technology,- Image and configure new and used devices for use for Administration and Extension staff - including Dell, Windows, and Apple devices.- Assist in managing inventory for the office along with coordinating surplus pickups to dispose of unneeded equipment.- Serve as the primary IT support person for the UKREC research facility in Princeton, KY while they search for a permanent, on-site support person.- Order technological equipment for M-G CAFE Administration staff through UK's Ariba Catalogue.

The duties of this contract involve:- Assist Morehead State University in recovering from a destructive cyberattack.• Working in a team to re-image every machine at Morehead State University (Involves and understanding of both Windows and Mac operating systems.)• Staffed the Walk-In Center Help Desk due to a large amount of clientele.• Being tasked with repairing machines for prominent MSU staff and faculty, such as the University President, due to my knowledgable experience and customer service skills.• Assisted staff and faculty with the initial setup process.• Assigned to lead a small team of other contractors to re-image machines in buildings across campus. • Completed installs of new equipment for staff and faculty.• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with machines.
