For this role I work to manage the press outreach and social media management for State Senator Kevin Parker.

For this position I work closely with the Founder and VP of Operations to ensure members of the organization are provided the resources needed to be engaged within their communities. I oversee that all components of our programming have a civic engagement piece. On a day to day I work to foster our relationships with elected officials and non partisan government organizations.

*Composed weekly press releases which highlighted the candidates upcoming events and endorsements *Created social media campaigns that allowed the candidate to engage with prospect voters and press online*Scheduled interviews with reporters on the candidates behalf *Curated weekly media prep sessions to prepare candidates for speaking engagements

As a communications director I oversee both the press relations and advertising involved in promoting the campaign including social media, campaign literature, television, radio, and print. I am in charge of drafting press releases, media advisories, phone scripts, and other forms of communication including creating concepts for signs and billboards or bumper stickers.

During my time at Critical Mention I prepared leads on prospect accounts for the sales department. Updated company profiles weekly on databases such as leader lander and sales force.Prepared memorandum weekly to update management on account progress.Prepared reports for clients to measure their publicity campaign turnouts and ROI using our broadcast monitoring platform

This position gives me the opportunity to blog about political issues pertaining to women. We host events and workshops for females of all ages. Are message through these workshops do not always involve politics but just being a leader ! I assist with the research and social media aspects as well.

During my time at Generation Engage I help to recruit and retain members by hosting events that revolved around political involvement. The highlight moment of this experience was when I was able to have an ichat conversation with former Sectary Of State Collin Powell.
