Having around 7+ yrs of IT experience with around 1.5yrs of experience as an Azure data engineer. My key Responsibilities as an Azure data engineer include: ★Design, develop and implement robust and scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Azure datafactory, Pyspark to support data ingestion, transformation and loading processes. ★Collaborate closely with data scientists, analyst and other cross- functional teams to gather data requirements and translate them into efficient data solutions. ★Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve any issues or errors in data pipelines ensuring data integrity and availability. ★Explore and recommend new tools, technologies to enhance data engineering processes and productivity. ★Loading data extracted from multiple APIs and other different data sources to Azure datalake/ blob storage. ★Analysing data using streaming and analytical tools like apache spark. Before working as an Azure Data Engineer I was working as a SQL server Database Administrator where my job responsibilities include:★Migrating and upgrading SQL servers from one version to the other. ★Implementing the database availability and disaster recovery solutions in order to prevent application downtime. ★Regularly patching and fixing the vulnerabilities in order to make the system secure and up to date. ★Database access management to avoid the unauthorized database access. ★Managing and scheduling the database backups depending upon the environment and backup policies.
