As a Senior Scientist at Vantage Research, I work in the interdisciplinary research area of Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP), to help the pharmaceutical industry develop innovative and effective drugs. I leverage mathematical and numerical models of diseases, drug mechanisms, and clinical trials to support decision making in the cycle of drug development. I am also working on importing the advancements in artificial intelligence to the field of QSP.My passion for scientific research and teaching stems from my academic background in physics and engineering. I hold a PhD in Physics from Georgia Tech, where I studied turbulent fluid flows using non-linear dynamics and numerical algorithms, and published two papers in prestigious journals. I also have a B.Tech in Engineering Physics from IIT Madras, where I explored quantum computing and developed a new type of quantum random walk. In addition, I have taught physics to high school students for over a year, sharing my enthusiasm and knowledge with the next generation of learners.
