Responsible for sanction, supervision & management of Large Corporate & Government Banking portfolio of approximately INR 6,000 Cr in East & Rest of West Zone as per laid down process of the Bank & abiding by policies of RBI and other Regulators. Vetting of Credit proposals in terms of RBI & Bank’s internal Credit policies/ guidelines Underwriting/ recommending credit proposals after undertaking detailed analysis & due diligence. Client interactions as per needs Continuously monitoring quality of credit portfolio & undertaking the remedial measures. Assisting in restructuring & recovery efforts wherever required. Allowing deviation/ deferrals in set credit guidelines considering the risk involved in issuance of FB/NFB products Ensuring compliances of all pending audit irregularities. Study of various industrial sectors and providing feedback to reinforce Risk management framework/ Bank’s lending guidelines, keeping with the prevailing economic scenario.

Worked as part of Relationship Team in the Mid-Corporate Group of SBI and was responsible for managing a corporate credit portfolio. Primarily, involved with marketing, assessing, preparation, presentation & monitoring of high value credit proposals. Pursuing new leads in order to increase business growth of the organization. Facilitating syndication of capital-intensive project by either being a lead arranger or by participating as member bank in consortium Leading a team of junior analysts. Working closely with clients to analyze their financial position. Undertaking detailed project appraisal exercise and carrying out due diligence to evaluate the financial aspects of new/existing projects. Periodically undertaking credit risk rating exercise for various clients. Covered high value credit appraisals and assessments for sectors such as iron and steel, FMCG, plywood, coal trading, packaging, construction, infrastructure, real estate etc. Handling consortium meetings, documentation, credit audits etc.

Preparation of CAM, Execution documents, Stock Statement Analysis, Deviation approval for LC/BG issuance, Inspection etc.
