As the Release Test Manager, I was responsible for defining the overall testing project scope, timelines, and budget, as well as designing and delivering project plans and status reports to stakeholders. I also managed risk assessment, issue resolution, and change management initiatives. I collaborated with the stakeholders to document the key testing requirements and success criteria based on the technical change requirements and expected outcomes. I worked closely with the third-party security test team to triage and retest security issues. I coordinated the provisioning of all Alfresco test environments across all platforms, managing nearly 250 virtual machines using VMWare VCenter 5.1 in Test Lab. I led and mentored the on-shore and off-shore QA team members, both internally and externally.

I led the efforts to establish a complete end to end UAT Test Plan framework to replace the existing one, which earned me the employee of the month award. Successfully delivered new product patches to the client without any technical issues. I also mentored and managed three testers daily and on patch delivery basis. I analysed the functional specifications and delivered test strategies for various modules of the system, such as EDB (Electronic Day Book), EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), G/L (General Ledger), Basel II, and the main Availability screen. I used HP Quality Center to create and execute test scripts and document the test deliverables for each module.

As a senior software test engineer, I set up QADirector as a test management tool, customized the project and reporting templates, and defined the processes. I developed and executed automation test scripts using Selenium, with recovery and validation mechanisms. I prepared Test Strategies and Test Plan documents for different phases of testing in SDLC. I performed various levels of testing, such as platform, compatibility, stress, regression, black box, exploratory, negative, GUI, and system.

As a senior software test engineer, I analyzed business requirements, designed documents and specifications, and developed test plans and cases. I reviewed them with developers and junior testers. I tested client and server installation on various operating systems and performed different levels of testing. I also set up test environments with Operating System and database installation and setup.

At this company I was responsible for the functional testing of Loan Origination System and Voice and Web Enabled enquiry systems. I created a test plan, test cases and test execution with on-going hands-on user acceptance and defect reporting. All my deliverables were according to the client’s TickIT standards. I also carried out system installations and user acceptance testing at customer sites.
