I lead the Transaction Tax (M&A-Tax) practice of RBSA Advisors. Being a Chartered Accountant by qualification, I had the opportunity to advise on plethora of M&A and corporate/business restructuring transactions from a tax and regulatory perspective. My endeavor has always been to provide value-oriented propositions to my clients in form of – (1) comprehensive Deal Tax Advisory on M&A transactions (acquisition, divestment or joint venture) covering Tax Due Diligence, Tax Structuring, Deal Negotiation Support, Transaction Documentation and Post Deal Integration;(2) robust Corporate Restructuring Solutions covering ideation/evaluation of various forms of Group Restructuring, Financial Restructuring and Succession Planning to optimise transaction costs and in-build tax & regulatory efficiency; and (3) holistic implementation of processes such as merger/ amalgamation, demerger/spin-off, capital reduction, share buyback, subsidiarisation, business transfers, Liquidation/Wind-up, etc.In my professional career spanning over more than two decades, I had the opportunity to serve across sectors, including Technology, Communication, Media, Financial Services, Healthcare, Pharma, Manufacturing, Logistics, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Hospitality, etc and supported wide spectrum of clients, including large Business Houses, Business Owners, MnCs and Private Equity.
