Risk Manager
CurrentAs Risk Manager responsible for enterprise risk management in achieving quality, safety and compliance outcomes throughout the continuum of services the Village provides.Responsible for managing the workers compensation program and other insurance programs with proactive concepts to reduce unsafe incidents and expenses.Responsible for keeping up-to-date of health and safety regulations and ensuring compliance with those at all times. Goal is to drive continuous safety and quality improvement in the organization.Work with senior management and the board to ensure risk management programs goals are met and provide strategic goals to reduce quality, safety and compliance issues at the village.Promoting a strong culture of safety throughout the organization by providing strong leadership and walk the talk approach. Work with teams from other disciplines to drive change and process improvement.Responsible for investigating incidents and near misses using several root cause analyses techniques and implementing and monitoring outcomes based on the analyses.Develop and implement safety and health programs along with training and loss control audits and inspections. Develop metrics for a host of safety and quality initiatives and track and monitor progress. Drive process change and continuous improvement using metrics and hold leaders accountable.Participate in various village strategic initiatives (PRIDE, Harmony, Wellness, etc.) and provide strong leadership in advancing these initiatives.
