Without the asset catalogue and domain allocation, governance enablement was near impossible task. In the absence of complete synchronization, it was valuable for the Bank to get one consolidated contact information mart for use cases of fraud and debt recovery. Duplicate Customer Record Analysis & Reporting- Provided the detailed data rules in collaboration with Data Steward for the Customer domain with a design for data replication and staging from source (SAP CRM) to profiling tool (IBM Information Analyzer). DQ Environment- Outcome was to use the IBM profiling tech to write on a database and enrich the result with additional dimension (like segments, profitability, risk, etc.) for value reporting to business and assist the frontline team with case allocation for remediation. Information Architecture provided specifications to Procurement and Infrastructure (sizing for capacity).Remediation Process Automation- Automation of remediation, where information was available in a structured format or could be derived based on business rules/data rules. This was done using Python-based automation on Work-fusion. Value achieved of $ 25M in revenue leakage by correcting discounts on the non-staff segment.External Data Ingestion - Department of Home Affairs (DHA) & Company & Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC)- Architecture pattern design aimed to ingest data from DHA/CIPC to enrich customer information, validate it for digital account origination, using DHA as an authoritative source & quality assessment of failed/empty calls with cross charge option to different Business Units. Initial work required the creation of a Report Glossary and decommissioning the redundant reports to save cost.
