I Started carrier in Textile industry as Quality Assurance person in 1978 and navigated through Production and Project and turned to Marketing and had a cockpit view of Textile industry and particularly Spinning industry and passed through industrial turbulent swings and vagaries of the market and learned all lessons to SURVIVE and GROW.In the process of understanding the Industry, my basic qualification in Master of Science and later acquired Master of Business Administration and the City and Guilds London Institute Technical Certificates in spinning Technology helped me to sail smoothly with firm Technical support. My carrier profile is started in a Spinning mill with 25000 spindles as Quality control assistant in 1978-79 and then become Quality Control Manager in 1980 to 1990, while taking a break in 1979-80 in carrier to see the rubber Industry Dunlop India and reverted back to textile industry with 60000 spindles in later 1980s to become Production manager, Project manager and Office manager in the years 1990 to1999 in a reputed TVS group and joined Lakshmi Mills in 1999 and continuing. Carrier moulding is individual aspiration and perception to become and I take all challenges in the industry as opportunities and learned best in that – be it increasing quality of the products in Technical side, choosing of Machineries in Project side, or Allocation of workload with time study in Productivity side, dealing of bankers in finance side and be it my present position of Export Marketing.Curious nature to learn more and improve yourself than previous day is the key factor for my energy level.Today I am working for a well reputed Textile Unit Lakshmi Mills as Senior General Manager – Exports and focus on Export Marketing.
