Ravi Patel is a sophomore at Seidman College of Business, GVSU pursuing a B.B.A. in Finance with plans to dual major and pair it with Accounting or Economics. As a freshman at Grand Valley State University, he started the year winning 1st place at the Annual CEO Pitch Competition which opened the door for him to become the Chief Finance Officer of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization. Moving towards the Winter Semester, he got his first Internship as an auditor for SpendMend and joined the Seidman Investment Portfolio Organization as a Research Analyst. He ended the year making Dean's List both semesters, is on 2 advisory boards for GVSU, and is the President of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization. On the career side, he's looking at higher finance with aims to break into Private Equity or Investment Banking. Currently, he is working on building his knowledge by working through courses such as AFM, CFM, FMVA and etc. from the Financial Modeling Institue(FMI) and Corporate Finance Institute(CFI) alongside his college education.
