American Express project: New Account Servicing Portal (NASP)The project “New Accounts Servicing Portal” provides an interface to the business analyst for the processing and approval of new credit card applications. All the business logic is driven from mainframe. NASP portal covers all the features like – Add new Card applications, Balance Transfer, Line Increase, Stand-alone Supplementary applications. Processing pending applications in work list mode etc.Integration with telephony to receive and make telephone calls and to pop up customer data with inbound and outbound calls. Responsibilities:• Involved in analysis, design and development, testing phases of application.• Used different types of J2EE design patterns like Front Controller, View Helper, Composite View, Dispatcher view, MVC and DAO.• Developed the User Interface Screens for presentation using JSP, JSTL, HTML, CSS, Java Script, AJAX.• Responsible in design and develop of market specific functionality in a way that same code base should work for multiple markets with the help of XML configuration files.• Developed Custom tag libraries for Multi market support. • Integrate Web Service to Interacting with Credit Bureau services, which returns the credit score of the applicant.• Responsible to convert the java object to XML and vice versa using JAXB API, to interact with backend mainframes system.• Interaction with client team to understand business requirements and develop the System design and involved in technical discussions, design reviews with Architects.• Developed external utilities which reduces the application server startup time from 7 minutes to 30 seconds in local environment, which saves the developer time.
