It seems my DNA has been mutated from a pure software engineer into a cybersecurity solution engineer. After some great moments in my previous companies, mostly I was a full-stack (software) engineer, now my new journey is started as a solution engineer/specialist in a leading global cybersecurity company. Our DNA is built and created to fight against any cyberattacks and threats. We love and proud to protect people from these bad actors. And I love to be the part of an army who is involved in fighting against these cyber criminals across the globe, especially in Indonesia and APAC region.

After two years working in Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), one of the largest bank in Indonesia, with some new technologies and experiences I’ve got from there, it’s time to move forward and also decide to find opportunity closer with my family, and remote/hybrid working is my next journey to come. My first journey to work remotely for overseas company is with FlexiDev, a growing IT solution company headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Actually my time in this company ended shortly, but it gave me some lesson learned how to work with people across the globe and timezone. At this position, my responsibilities included:1. Reviewing the code from the engineers. 2. Set the software curriculum standardization, to align the engineers with the latest technology trend. 3. Still passionate in code, actually often explore what engineers have done the code. 4. Collaborate (but still not closer due to a short period) with all of engineers inside.

Started on October 2023, my journey in Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI)’s getting more challenging with more several expectations, especially in a management and leading role journey. This position was actually coming from a naming convention on the BRI’s employee hierarchical system, since it was implemented in the middle of 2023, some positions were switched its name to others. To myself, still, my responsibilities was same as previous, but due to the higher in name, it gave more challenges for me obviously. At this position, my responsibilities included (still same with previous stage):1. Develop and build the services under the BRI's fraud detection system (FDS).2. Coordinate the engineers team (full stack) to do the engineering tasks.3. Collaborate with other team or division about data sources and any factors to run the job done.4. Initialize the meeting with other teams for the development purposes.5. Create an SOP contains standardization on code and software development inside the anti fraud engineering team.6. Monitoring the project flow and management by using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.7. Collaborate with SAS (little part) to build a high effective fraud detection system.

It's not only about the technical abilities, but also how to share the capabilities to the team.At this position, my responsibilities included:1. Lead the backend engineering team in Telkom Indonesia to design, develop and build Fintech platform (named: t-money).2. Polyglot experienced to do back-end engineering parts.3. Set-up, controlled and monitored the infrastructures.4. Manage the services inside the t-money ecosystem (especially application-side).5. Collaborate with other teams to ensure the t-money capabilities' getting more complete.6. Engineered the platform to integrate with the bank and switching (Mandiri, BNI, & ALTO).
