•Monitor nondestructive testing examination results to determine defects, corrosion, mechanical damage, or blockages and make recommendations for repairs or replacement as required.•Perform all types of equipment inspection, including activities that require the use of calipers, micrometers, infrared camera, boroscopes, pit gauges, etc., to assure continued safe operation.•Perform all tests and inspections on equipment that has been repaired or modified to assure that the equipment meets the manufacturers specifications and industry (ASME/API/AWS) code requirements.•Perform all necessary inspections for the installation of hot tap, weld plus ends repair sleeves, or any welding that is required on piping or equipment while in service.•Monitor heat treatment of piping, vessels, and equipment.•Witness hydrostatic and/or pneumatic tests on static equipment, which includes the review of hydrostatic packages.
