About Ravid Chowdhury

I have over 12 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, and corporate development investing in the US and globally. I hold an Masters in International Finance from Columbia University and a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University.As a former founder, I have raised over $50M for my ventures and have two exits. I led the pre-seed round of Truck Lagbe, the #1 truck booking platform in Bangladesh, where I joined the board and led corporate development including raising a Series A led by IFC-World Bank. I also invested in and served as the CFO of Pathao, the #1 ride-sharing company and super app in Bangladesh and Nepal with 8 million daily customers. I had exited the company during the GO-JEK investment round. As a former investment manager at Techstars, the world's most active pre-seed investor with 4000+ portfolio companies, I managed the post-accelerator companies, advise founders, attend board meetings, and execute follow-on investments. Finally, I founded RC Ventures, an investment syndicate with 10+ angel investments. I am passionate about supporting entrepreneurs who are solving the world's biggest challenges with innovation and technology.
