As a head of sales and operations I am very passionate about starting the operations and sales for a Startup Oxecart Agritech Pvt. Ltd. recruiting, training and mentoring employees to successfully carryout their duties and responsibilities.This is possible because of the 7 years learning experiences I had with Dole and Aditya Birla Retail and developed and carried further in companies like Farm folks Agro and Samunnati Agro Solutions.Over the last 2 years more than 1000 farmers have been onboarded in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, and more than 500 customers across India to achieve more than 20,000 tons of produce trade with 5% net margins.With a consistent 95% of fill rate the customers are very happy about the quality of the produce and service, this also helped us to pull customers from competitors.Current customers mix includes 60% general retail,30% modern retail, and 10% to wholesalers or B2B. The 95% of the produce sales includes mainly Bananas, Apples, Onion, and Melons.The initial career learning experience with Namdhari’s Fresh and Aditya Birla Retail Ltd. (ABRL) helped me to increase store sales to 100% with no attrition and reduced store shrink to 1% from 4%. The Buying and Merchandising(B&M) assignment with ABRL given me opportunity to work with larger team handling 60 supermarkets in Bengaluru for produce category. Focused on Farmer sourcing, strategic sourcing, scientific indenting, tweaking stores indent, store promotions, revising store planogram, pricing, data analysis and margins.With all the efforts in B&M we could be able to achieve ever highest sales of INR 3.5 crores with 20% gross margin with less than 5% shrinkage/dump.The distribution center and store fill rates are always more than 95% with SKU ranges from 130 to 150 for produce.During my leisure I used to spend time with my two amazing kids over a movie, playing fun games and music.
