Solidaire is a membership community of people with wealth who are committed to supporting progressive social movements which address crucial needs now, next year and beyond. Resist funds and supports grassroots groups organizing for peace, economic, social and environmental justice.Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage all aspects of Resist fundraising strategy including major donor cultivation, direct mail campaign, events planning, and all donor electronic and print communications. Develop and implements annual and long-range fundraising activities. In conjunction with other members of Resist’s collective, participates in political education and organizational collaborations; the development of written materials and electronic communications. Serve on Resist's board and participate in the foundation's gratmaking.

Key Responsibilities: As organization's first staff person, setup and implement accounting system; set up and maintain membership and donor management database; develop and manage annual budget; design and implement fundraising strategy; produce bi-annual print newsletter and monthly eNewsletter; redesign and maintenance of PHENOM’s website, and support development and implementation of educational, outreach and advocacy campaigns.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to raise the foundation’s $1.2 million annual budget. Help develop joint administrative processes and systems to facilitate the integration of the Seattle based Pacific Peace Fund, following its merger with PDF. Administer PDF’s donor advised funds.

Key Responsibilities: Co-direct three annual national educational, advocacy and fundraising campaigns – the Fast for a World Harvest, Tools for Peace & Justice and the Campaign for Child Survival. This included the selection of regional and political focuses for the campaigns; developing educational, advocacy and organizing materials; and supporting on the ground campaign organizing being done by over 5,000 local church, school, college and community based organizations across the country. And, serve on OA’s Asia Grants Review Committee.

Key Responsibilities: Help implement major donor, corporate and foundation fundraising program. Help coordinate program briefings, visits and special presentations for major donors. Co-led the 1986 donor and activist delegation to Nicaragua and Honduras to see distribution of agricultural tools and supplies, and witness firsthand the devastating impact of the US supported contra war and the U.S embargo on Nicaragua.

Key Responsibilities: Support the organizing and educational activities of over 200 Massachusetts churches, schools, colleges and community organizations participation in OA’s Fast for a World Harvest. Serve as lead organizer and spokesperson on second half of Oxfam’s cross-country Tools for Peace & Justice Caravan collecting agricultural tools and supplies for Nicaragua, in direct opposition to the US imposed embargo against that country. Help coordinate successful grassroots lobbying campaign to reverse State Department’s decision to block Oxfam's shipment of collected agricultural tools and supplies to Nicaragua.

Key Responsibilities: Help raise awareness about Seva’s work on blindness prevention and control in India and Nepal. Organized and host Indian cultural and film festival to draw support from large South Asian community in the region. Organize a food collection and distribution program to support local food pantries during the period of deep economic crisis in the region in the early 80s.
