Import –Export Co-coordinator,  Handling end-to-end logistics activities right from planning, arranging pre-carriages, lashing material, managing storage area at ports, documents, import-export customs clearance and other duty paid clearance till timely vessel loading ops and delivery of shipments and timely vendor payments. • Alignment with production plants, SNOP & chartering, for effective pre-carriages and export planning. • Coordinating with plants, freight forwarders & CHA for effective Export movement schedules from India.• Planning, updating of transports [Pre-carriage] in SAP.• To achieve the Laycan week planning & arranging pre-carriage for all Export shipments and lashing material. • Preparing TS & CS Note for insurance initiation in SAP.• Establishing inland transport process and KPI's for the inland service providers. • Active participation in transport purchasing decisions. • Responsible for vendors on time invoice process and payments-Maintaining proper reports. • Managing and coordinating for export [LM India] and re-importation [LM India] of Frames/Tools. • Responsible to prepare export documents like Preparation of frames invoice, packing list, VGM, SCOMAT,EVD, e-way bills, DC to enable FG vehicle and export container movement smoothly. • Monitoring availability of transport frames and if any shortage of frames arranging by importing frames from other overseas facilities, responsible for re-importing of frames in speculated time. • India SOC Containers inventory management, Returns and Utilization planning. • Create PR/PO in SAP for Local and Export related services. • Purchasing of lashing and lifting materials for India and maintaining inventory at various port locations. • • Initiation / participation in meetings with Service providers, Cross-functional depts. Production authorities for resolving issues. • Transportation cost monitoring and analysing.

Logistics Planning[Domestic, Import & Export]: Managing Caterpillar Supplier and Dealers, Delivery/Pick up schedule preparation & Communication [Domestic, International freight Forwarding]. Handling end-to-end logistics activities right from on time pick up, delivery ops, import-export customs clearance and other duty paid clearance till timely delivery of shipments and vendor payments. Effective planning for better optimization of vehicles / containers. Load simulation creation according to vehicle dimensions and loading capacity. Analyse transportation spend [Trips vs Cost] and recommend Optimum solutions. Key Performance (KPI) review with Vendors and Service provider to maintain the standard result. Handling logistics operations for setting up Caterpillar standards with accountability for strategic utilization & deployment of available resources to achieve the targets. Continuous Improvements projects including Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) Analysis effectively.

Managing major key accounts on PAN India basis. Operations management: maintaining JIT (Just in Time) by coordinating with team, vendors and clients (Deliveries) to meet customer requirements. Deft in developing new vendors & maintaining professional relation with existing fleet vendors, inbound/outbound Suppliers. Possess good interpersonal skills that are used while interacting with clients towards ascertaining requirements and delivering need-based solutions.
