A typical EDI Gateway consists of a hardware platform and EDI translation software.EDI Translation Software: A Specialized tool called WDI (an IBM tool) used for translating the messages coming from/to Trading Partners. Roles & ResponsibilitiesWorking as a team Lead and coordinating with a team of five members in the EDI Development and to develop codes and mappings for various Trading Partners in different countries such; Mexico etc for Kraft Foods, having handled EDIFACT, XML, ANSI X12, Idocs and TRADACOMS messages.Other than mapping have involved myself for the new TP's ID setup in cyclone (UNIX) and making sure no message left unprocessed.
