I am working on development of Web 2.0 based framework - QAFE. QAFE allows you to recycle legacy applications, build applications from scratch and execute your mobile strategy to an anywhere, anyplace collaboration, all on an open-source platform. It also offers a one-of-a-kind Oracle Forms modernization tool, that allows you to unlock legacy applications to any modern front end of your choice.Currently developing QAFE application for UTS, Curacao

I was working as Software Engineer in the R&D department of Ericsson Telecommunications, Netherlands. The part of the application that I have been working involves the development and implementation of Diameter base protocol resource adapter. Diameter base protocol is implemented to enable offline charging during a call. With the help of Diameter Base protocol the Rf protocol interface for offline charging is implemented to enable the feature. The team worked following Agile methodologies. We worked using Java, EJB, Web services along with Maven, Eclipse on Linux environment. SVN was used as the version management system.

My role with aurionPro involved both of a developer as well as a lead in application development. The two projects that I worked on was Jaxtr and Obopay. The Jaxtr project enabled users to do micro-payments using their mobile phone. The application interacted with respective banks of users and electronically transferred money from an account to another. Obopay project is of the similar nature but they themselves acted as a financial entity handling the money transfer. On the technical side, Java, JSP, Spring, Struts, Tomcat, Hibernate, EJB and Oracle database was used with Eclipse IDE in Windows platform.

I worked with Merrill Lynch as a Associate Consultant doing development in a stand alone application named Credit Analytics. The Credit Analytics application is used to find out the current and potential exposure for Merrill Lynch on a trade day. The exposures were obtained based on the underlyings, derivatives and the risk parameters involved in the trade. The reports obtained in an excel sheet is presented to the SEC. The application was developed in Eclipse environment using Java

The name of the project on which I worked is called Dares. The main objective of Dares project is to bring back a loan given by Option One Mortgage Corporation to a normal state when a borrower defaults. The Financial status of the borrower is analyzed from his credit history and the borrower is provided with different options to pay back the due amount or the loan as such. I was involved in the development, delivery and maintenance of more than one application under the Dares project at the same time. The technicalities involved vast range of Java and J2EE technologies.

The project that I was involved is called eGuru, which is an umberlla project portal having several other application modules involved. I had a role of a Team lead on this project. The web application was developed on Java, JSP , struts using PostgreSQL DB with Netbeans and was hosted using Apache Tomcat container. The application was meant to enable students from various part of the country to submit their IT projects and to get it evaluated from faculties of the prestigious institution in the country, IIT Bombay.
