Currently working as Senior developer/technical lead in an enterprise data warehouse environment that was built from ground up. Worked closely with Academic counselors, business analysts and financial analysts to understand the data needs and then built a solution that caters to multiple business groups. Consolidated multiple data marts to eliminate data redundancy and save SAN storage. Used Informatica as the ETL tool to build the data warehouse environment, used Informatica ICC standards to maintain code consistency across the team. Mentored fellow and Junior team members to understand data warehouse concepts and Informatica standards to build a quality product or solution. Built applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX) for multiple business partners to manage email marketing campaigns effectively and eliminate manual file maintenance. Used Embarcadero data modeling tool to reverse engineer existing and build new data models.Built an Operational Data Store at Apollo that houses data from a variety of legacy home grown and 3rd party systems, we built this to help analysts across organization to have one place to go for strategic answers. Built predictive models using this platform such as Course Clearance, Workforce Solutions. Used Oracle Goldengate to perform real-time replication from around 30 different source systems that include (Oracle, Sqlserver and Mysql). In order to successfully implement the Financial Reporting and Analytics we used Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE 7.9.6 and 10.1.3.4) as the solution. We rolled out Data Integration and Business Analytics platform for internal users from multiple departments (Account Receivables, Account Payables and General Ledger). We used agile development methodology with phased delivery approach. In addition to OBIEE we also used Oracle Data Integrator (10.1.3.5) for Data Integration between Oracle Financials, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management, flat files and Student Information System. we are doing a POC on OBIEE for HR analytics.Built Oracle Data Integrator projects, Initial load and CDC interfaces, packages using ELT strategy to extract data from heterogeneous sources, perform transformations on a staging database schema and load data into Hyperion Planning Essbase Cubes. Created and Reverse engineered models to create and update objects metadata. Created global objects i.e. Procedures, Variables, Sequences and User Functions. Built Scenarios from Packages and deploy them to production/execution only environment. Worked closely with Business analysts to understand their data needs. Built data marts for Activity and Sales that hosts data for Amgen sales representatives. Built Conformed dimensions that can address multiple data needs across business teams. Extensively used Informatica to build complex initial and incremental ETL's that run nightly. Created Congnos series 7 BI reports, transformer cubes and Report Net reports for business teams.
