As Chief Information Officer in Sinarmas Mining, our strategy is to Tech Enable business so that we are scalable enough for organic and inorganic growth. IT is considered as one of the main pillars that drives the ambitious growth and expansion plan from shareholders. We ensured that the primary IT functions like BCP for critical apps, Office Infra, Helpdesk and support, IT Team etc are well organized and can run on autopilot mode using cloud migration, Office automations, Network redundancy and monitoring.I have introduced various initiatives that are backbone of Mining like Private LTE Network, Digital Radio Network, SAP Ariba e-procurement System, Digitization of Fuel Supply chain, Workflow digitization that supports WFH and many more that enable operational excellence and value creation.In addition to mining Grroup, I am also heading IT for various other business units across different industry like Finance, Media (OTT) , FMCG, where we take the role of enabler to the business through technology As Chief Procurement Officer, I am managing addressable spend worth US$500Million with an aim to achieve three milestones – Cost Saving, Time Saving, Gov & Compliance. Transformed the procurement from conventional to category based organization, implemented various tools that helped in Cost and time saving.

In addition to ensure the business continuity and office infra, I also implemented various digital and tech initiatives that has enabled EMTEK group to grow and embrace the new and unique segments of media like OTT, DVB-T2, Digital Terrestrial Pay TV etcThe typical systems managed are:• Backoffice operations for DTT Pay TV Platform, which includes Conditional Access System, Set top Box, OSS/BSS Billing and middleware applications.• New Media projects like OTT Platforms, Web and mobile sites, VOD streaming – live and on demand, analyzing iPTV, catch up TV and Mobile streaming for group content.• Editing Infrastructure for production house and in-house productions.• Evaluation and implementation of Media Asset Management System, to ingest the digital assets on storage instead of conventional Betacam tapes. This has enabled easy search and access of content and also opened new business model in OTT space.• Managing IT applications like Broadcast Management System, SAP and infrastructure like email, documents, Media Asset Management, Ingesting etc • Setting up e-Commerce system for TV Home Shopping business.
