Ravinder is the Head of Global Wholesale Business and heading a team that offers solutions to, and manages commercial relationships with over 700 Mobile Operators, Carriers and Service Providers worldwide.In his current role, Ravinder is responsible for overseeing the Global Sales Strategy and Business Development for International Voice, International Roaming and International Messaging. He also works very closely with the various du Segments Teams to launch Retail IDD Voice Calling and International Roaming Propositions. Upon joining du in 2006, Ravinder was instrumental in setting up the International Voice business and securing, within a couple of years, 50% market share of the total International Incoming UAE Voice Traffic. Ravinder was also instrumental in setting up du's International Points of Presence (PoP) in London and Hong Kong. Ravinder subsequently expanded the product portfolio by launching Wholesale Voice Transit, UAE Access Numbers, and International A2P Messaging businesses. Since joining the International Wholesale Division at du, Ravinder has actively contributed to its Strategy, Growth and Transformation into one of the industry leading operators. This has been achieved by automation of business and by designing efficient business processes. Ravinder is currently working actively in enabling IoT, M2M, and Cloud Communication Services to be offered to Global Service Providers. Prior to working in du, Ravinder held various positions in Sales, P&L Ownership; New Business Development; New Service Launches; New Sales Channels Setup; New Regional Offices Setup; New Points of Presence (PoP) Setup in US, Europe and Hong Kong; Wholesale Business Management Systems (ICONX and CSG) Implementation; and Recruitment & Management of Diverse Teams in Multicultural Environments. Ravinder worked as Head of International Wholesale Voice for Americas and Europe for Bharti Airtel till 2006 and actively contributed to the development of International Wholesale Voice business through partnerships and agreements with International Carrier Partners.
