Worked as software engineer for the application experience team and later the service maturity team. Contributed to the engineering efforts as a full-time engineer, working across all parts of the codebase in a full-stack environment. Participated in multiple efforts such as leading sprints, demonstrating sprint work, and bi-weekly operational reviews.- Developed a new full-stack feature to monitor the statistics of 1000+ microservices in OpsLevel utilizing Ruby on Rails for the data model and backend, Vue.js as the front-end, and GraphQL as the API.- Implemented Sidekiq workers to detect non-deterministic failures from the GitHub Search API and asynchronously retry jobs at various intervals reducing flaky results.- Enhanced Git forge integrations to consolidate repositories, deployments, and ownership of microservices across multiple teams in OpsLevel.- Validated code from the back-end to the front-end by implementing unit tests across 50+ files.

Worked as a software engineer developing in backend, front-end, and devops related tasks.- Reduced AWS costs by over $800 a month by creating a cron job to schedule the activity of 50+ EC2 instances.- Upgraded Adknown's custom CMS using PHP and MySQL, streamlining development of 30+ websites reducing average maintenance time by over 15%.- Developed proof of concepts for converting existing servers to EC2 Graviton and implementing AWS EKS to further reduce costs.- Designed the UI of an internal company email and alert notification service using React and Material UI.

Worked alongside Queen's University and the Autism Research Registry at Q-GLO.- Identified critical bugs in 12+ year old PHP and implemented modern patterns by upgrading code from PHP 3.x to PHP 5.6 increasing the security and reliability of entire production website.- Upgraded legacy JavaScript code for a genetic analysis application improving robustness and reusability.- Tasked with WordPress development and plugin development starting the development of the new WordPress based website and porting over existing features.

- Developed a responsive personal website for a University of Waterloo professor using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.- Helped students in assisting learning concepts from Calculus 2.- Assisted the head professor of the course by grading assignments and quizzes.
