For over decade and a half I have witnessed the evolution of cyber security domain by implementing security solutions for Enterprise applications for both private and public sector. Be it organizational vision, security policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, adoption of best practices, regulations, privacy laws, IT architecture, the impact of leadership decisions – I always look forward to comprehending the nuances of cybersecurity and its impact on individuals, organizations, and society.I feel grateful for getting a chance to work at reputed private sector corporations (Saputo, IBM Canada, Infosys Ltd, Novartis, Syngenta and AT&T) and public sector authorities (City of Toronto, Nova Scotia Health Authority, NS School Boards & office of the auditor general) adding value to my experience for gaining trust of diverse teams. I believe in empowering enterprises on the journey to improve their overall security posture by providing the right insights and simplifying the security problem.I get to work and lead cybersecurity aspects of multiple greenfield/brownfield implementations of SAP solutions both in cloud and on-premises. Some of the solutions I help protecting includes ECC, EWM, RISE with SAP (S/4 HANA Private Edition), APO, TM/EM, Solution Manager, BI/BW, BPC, CRM, GTS, Fiori, HANA DB, ARIBA, Kronos, Workday, SAP HR (MSS/ESS) and SAP GRC solutions. I have designed SAP security which comply with Audit Policies (SOX, c-SOX, GDPR, MFIPPA, PCI-DSS) and at the same time put less stress on the operational side of the solution. Built, tested, and deployed security for diverse functional areas such as RTR (FI), OTC (SD), MM, Logistic, PTM, PTP, BASIS, Development, Audit and Security. I also have an extensive hands-on and leadership experience for implement SAP GRC solution.I have experience in writing and reviewing RFI/RFP, SoW, MSAs and reporting for C-Suite executives for quick decision making towards their long-term roadmap, strategy, and vision. Timesheet management, resource reporting, SLA management, incident management, project reporting in agile/waterfall/Hybrid models, onsite-offshore coordination, Privacy Impact Assessments, risk & control design assessments, technical cyber security assessments and working with procurement for the review and approval of new IT tools are some other areas of my work.I am active member and participate regularly in ISC2, ISACA and NIST events. I love to mentor young individuals, encouraging them to join cybersecurity. I believe that we need more hands on keyboard to protect our society in coming years.
