As Head of Product Management built the PM team and instilled the PM discipline while streamlining the portfolio, introducing cloud solutions, and expanding the addressed market segments to fuel growth.

I led Product Management in Splunk's Security group and I was responsible for the security products portfolio including the flagship SIEM product, Splunk Enterprise Security (Splunk ES). Responsible for the product due-diligence that led to the acquisition of Caspida to create Splunk UBA

Partnered with the Founder/CEO to raise Series A round. Led the development of the MVP and 1st version of the product for validation with lighthouse prospects/customers.

Led Product Marketing, Product Management and UI design effort at WhiteHat Security. Led the growth of the product portfolio from a single product line to 4 different product lines, driving the increase in bookings from $13M to $35M and from 70 employees in 2010 to 260 employees in 2013. Worked closely with founders and board members to achieve 40+% year/year growth. Hired and mentored all the Product Managers, Product Marketing managers and UX designers in the team.

Led the Enterprise and Government Product Management team focused on Mobile Messaging, Mobile Device Management and Secure Mobile Messaging products. In this role I led the Enterprise and Government Product Management teams. During this period I was responsible for guiding the transition of the company during the divestiture from Motorola, right sizing the organization and the merger with Visto Corporation. I was also responsible for defining a revised road-map and leading the delivery of our enterprise and government products on the iPhone, Android and webOs platforms.

Responsible for several products and services in Motorola’s Good Technology Group. I lead a team of 5 product managers and have responsibility for 3 different products. Additionally I have overall responsibility for several functional areas including device security and management; secure data access (mobile VPN) and secure messaging (S/MIME). Additionally I also have responsibility for service offerings through the Good Management Portal. My team is also responsible for Good Technology’s support offerings.

Responsible for evaluating new business opportunities in the device security market for the Enterprise Solutions business unit. Led the development of the device security strategy. This included developing business plans, validating the opportunity with existing and potential customers, developing the long range plan and product road map. Additionally led a cross functional team for security certification of all products – these included FIPS and Common criteria certification of Mobile devices, firewalls, VPN Gateways, GSM switches etc.

I led the Solaris Product Management team. This team included 8 product managers including those for Solaris Kernel, Security, Networking, File systems and Trusted Solaris. I was responsible for the product marketing and product management of Solaris OS and Trusted Solaris OS. My team was responsible for shepherding the successful creation and launch of Solaris 8, Trusted Solaris 8 and Solaris 9. I also led several strategic efforts including due diligence for acquisitions made by Sun Microsystems, developing alliance partnerships for Trusted Solaris, leading cross organizational initiatives for process and quality.
