Software Engineering Manager
Current• Client 1, UK - This is an on-premise to Cloud and colocation center cloud migration project. Working with the client, cloud architects, senior management, sales team, and other stakeholders to determine the apps to be moved by offering insights. Based on the types of migration such as lift and shift, rehosting, re-architecture, replace or revise, devised a test approach for each of the apps. Develop a runbook and have technical deep dive discussions for successful cloud migration. Had to find testing tools, plan pre-migration performance testing, end-to-end testing, security testing, scalability, performance, disaster recovery testing, and so on. • Client 2, Finland - To automate the SAP S4/HANA and Fiori apps, lead a team of 20 automation and functional testers. Work with the client and other stakeholders to identify and test the systems that send and receive data to and from the SAP application. The existing robot automation framework has to be upgraded to accommodate standalone and web-based applications. Follow and track each story and task on the Kanban board, ensuring that all tasks are done, adhering to CI/CD, and maintaining a strong burn-down chart track record. Work with development to identify important defects, fix them, and release them in the next sprint. In addition to technical duties, a scrum master responsibility was taken. • Client 3, US, Belgium - Collaborate with the client and sales team to find new areas to automate and collaborate on RFPs. Because each project had its own automation framework, worked on standardizing the automation framework by applying the robot framework across several subprojects. Later, J&J Belgium projects adopted the same approach. J&J's high-profile and vital healthcare initiatives need a rigorous QA methodology to standardize the automation architecture. Mentored college grads in the use of automation frameworks and technologies.
