I am a Jakarta-based public policy researcher and advocacy specialist currently working for the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) as the Indonesia Country Director. Our programs in the country cover a wide range of thematic policy areas, from anti-corruption, climate action, open parliament, women’s political leadership, elections, to human rights. Additionally, I oversee WFD's parliamentary program in the Solomon Islands, ASEAN women's political leadership program covering the wider Southeast Asia region, and represent WFD in the Open Parliament e-Network consortium. Having joined WFD in 2019 as a small two-person operation, I have managed and now led WFD Indonesia to an exponential 10-fold growth in funding within five years (half of which was spent under COVID-19 restrictions and widespread development budget cuts).Since 2017, I also regularly conduct research and write reports that analyze the design and implementation of open government action plans for the Independent Reporting Mechanism of the Open Government Partnership (OGP). My reports have covered national action plans in Afghanistan, Indonesia, Malawi, Mongolia, and the Philippines as well as local action plans in Abuja (Nigeria), Seoul (South Korea), Ozurgeti (Georgia), and Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (Morocco).
