• Worked as Internal Auditor, Operational Control Management (OCM), and SOX tester at JP Morgan Chase (CIB).• Onsite experience of working in Edinburgh, delivering quality audit engagement.• Primarily responsible for identifying the control gaps, creating and designing control around those gaps for SOX testing.• Scoping as per the last year's test, conducting walkthroughs, performing SOX testing, and sharing results with the senior management.• Performing a key role in assisting PwC during the external audits.• Assist in the development of audit programs for financial, operational, IT, and compliance audits and execute testing accordingly SOX testing• Strong interaction with the external auditors and stakeholders communicate with them to convey risk attributes.• Developing and rolling out Operational Risk Management frameworks from the1st line of defense.• Testing of Design effectiveness and Operation effectiveness during the audits.• Plan and manage internal audit mandates, including documentation of work performed, and management of costs and time for the mandates• Highlighting the observations to the top management and liaising with the operations team to create an action item to mitigate the risk.• Timely closure of all observations related to audit/regulatory reporting/OCM.• Process flow, Design gaps, and the RCSA framework design are the key responsibilities.
