I am 30 + year veteran of Danish-Australian business development and facilitation, having been blessed with a diverse and exciting executive career in international corporate business, as well as more than a decade of business start-ups and early-stage business development, across various industries and sectors, including involvement with government and industry bodies at the highest level in both Australia and Denmark. In parallel, I have had the proud opportunity to represent my country of birth, Denmark, in various honorary capacities, as Consul-General covering the State of Victoria and as Goodwill Ambassador for the City of Copenhagen; as well as being instrumental in setting up Denmark House in Melbourne, a founding trustee of the charitable Dannebrog Foundation, President of the Danish Club Dannebrog in Melbourne and twice, a recipient of Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark's honors, latest in 2019 with the Knight of the Order of Dannebrog 1st Class Order (R1). I am currently the Australian partner and Associate Director for DI - Confederation of Danish Industries, Denmark's largest private employers' organisation, representing more than 20,000 Danish companies.When I am not wearing a suit, I co-manage our family farm in the Macedon Ranges with my wife and children, running a Shorthorn beef cattle operation.
