In 2014 I took a step forward and joined Vauxhall as a Production Operator. This is where I started to gain confidence and experience in the motor industry. My journey began in the Body Shop where the making of the vehicle started. As I started to gain the experience and knowledge I was promoted to a Team Leader leading and motivating a team to create a world leading van. Within a short time I was then promoted to Body Shop Supervisor for Production which became more in depth and challenging. I was in charge of a highly motivated team who were part of delivering high quality body shells in the first stages of production. Focusing on quality, maintaining KPI's, problem solving, people management and also other driven qualities to ensure we were the best. In 2020 I wanted to widen my knowledge and to learn and make a difference in other departments within Vauxhall. I chose to moved to Supply Chain as a Supervisor. Here I gained more skill and experience with the logistics side of manufacturing while continuing to deliver high quality material to the General Assembly Production Line. I now have experience with Production and Supply Chain operations and will continue to broaden my knowledge to become an all rounded and experienced individual and also progess further in my career.
