Rawad Choubassi, graduated in Architectural Design and Urban Planning and Public Policy Design from the American University of Beirut and Politecnico di Milano, respectively, is currently a Partner of Systematica, operates mainly from Systematica’s head office in Milan and acts as a Director and Board member. He gained his experience through intensive master and transportation planning work on large scale projects during his work with Systematica and other offices among which are Arata Isozaki (Tokyo), Kliment-Halsband Architects (New York) and AUB Facilities Planning and Design unit (Beirut). 13-year experienced Rawad Choubassi, acts currently as a director in charge of several projects and competitions through providing direct advisory and consultancy services and coordinating work groups during which he developed skills in traffic analysis, transport planning, parking engineering, pedestrian flow analysis, project management through continuous liaison with architects, engineers and specialists of different trades. His linguistic skills have facilitated communication and understanding of different norms, regulations and cultures, and assisted him in getting closer to specific project objectives while maintaining a comprehensive vision to other project aspects and stakeholders.
