Responsibilites:Elevate the institutional performance of the Ministry through developing and updating the policies, strategic plans and executive work plans of the Ministry,following up on their implementation and applying the necessary mechanisms and methodologies for that.Preparing and developing the Ministry's strategic plan necessary to achieve its goals and objectives, in line with national, sectorial, and institutional goals and priorities, in coordination with the concerned authorities and the various organizational units in the Ministry.Suggested recommendations necessary for the development of the strategic plan and operational action plans and its alignment with the Economic Modernization Vision, Public sector modernization roadmap, and the Royal Committee for the modernization of the Political System OutputsPreparing and developing various plans that fall within the scope of strategic planning such as Risk Management Plans, Emergency Plan, Knowledge Management Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Social Responsibility, Innovation and Creativity Management, Business Sustainability,and Change Management, in coordination with the specialized organizational units in the Ministry.Enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Ministry in carrying out its tasks and providing its services through developing the organizational structure, developing the services provided, documenting, evaluating, preparing the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for main procedures in the Ministry, simplifying and continuously updating work procedures.Re-engineering, simplifying and automating procedures and operations in coordination with the organizational units in the Ministry and the relevant authorities (Prime Ministry, Ministry of Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship/e-Government)Developing the organizational structure of the Ministry on regular basis, identifying weaknesses and imbalances, and proposing possible opportunities for improvement and development.

Preparing the documents and plans to apply for the Financiers ,and Sponsors to get the necessary Finance for Road Programs and Projects, in coordination with MOPICFollow-up and management of Investment opportunities on roads,to provide a steady income that supplies the treasury and helps in providing the necessary financing to carry out Road construction& maintenance Projects , to reflect positively on the quality and enhance the requirements of traffic safety elements on RoadsParticipate in the preparation of local and international cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding concerning the Ministry in coordination and cooperation with all the directorates and units concerned in the Ministry and across the Government.Follow-up of projects financed by funding agencies or external grants/loans from the (WB) /(EIB)/USAID/EU/JICA/KFW/GIZ/Saudi Development Fund/Abu Dhabi Development Fund/Kuwaiti Development Fund/Arab Fund for Economic and Social DevelopmentListing and documenting cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding.Managing the investments of road projects in the Ministry in the field of billboards and advertisements and the exploitation of the ROW and its remaining areas for commercial and investment purposes.Utilizing and Investing the Ministry's capabilities in manufacturing road signs and traffic safety elementsFollow-up of PPP Projects for Highways in the Kingdom, which are funded by external grants or loansFollow up the implementation of the EMP in international projects that require itLiaison Officer with (KFW) to implement the Energy Efficiency in Public buildings in Jordan Project.Head of the Technical Committee assigned by the Prime Ministry for the New King Hussein Bridge (KHB) land border crossing terminal (PPP) projectLiaison Officer with WB for (PPP) projects:ADC Phase II&III,Performance Based Maintenance Contracts,Road Asset Management System (RAMS),Identifying optimal financing arrangements for the roads sector.

Highways Studies Department / Environmental studies Section as an Environmental Engineer Responsibilities :- Participating in preparing the Designs and Specifications of Tenders and Terms of Reference for Environmental Studies and check its conformance to the Environmental Regulatory Frame work and the Environmental Standards- Performing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Study- Checking and Reviewing (EIA) studies for Road Projects prepared by Consultants- Preparing Progress Reports - Participating in the supervision on Amman Development Corridor in its three sections funded by World Bank, European Investment Bank, and Arab Fund for Economic Development as an Environmental Officer- Participating in Scoping Sessions in accordance with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing for various types of Projects- Participating in the preparing of National Building Codes for Highways
