I am exploring the role of macrophages and macrophage phenotypes in kidney injury and regeneration. During my postdoctoral training, I gained experience and expertise in synthesizing and characterizing Lipid Nanoparticles for the targeted delivery of oligos or drug molecules. Primary cell culture and cell lines, Blood monocyte (MDM), BMDM, peritoneal, and splenic macrophage isolation. Animal handling, nerve injury, and wound healing - models (DPN, CIPN, excisional wound, excisional tail wound, and PVA sponge). Molecular techniques like q-PCR, ELISA, IHC, ICC, H&E staining, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, and confocal microscopy.I have my doctoral (Ph.D.) training in NMR-based metabolic profiling of biofluids like the serum, plasma, urine, CSF, and cell or tissue lysates to characterize and identify the metabolic perturbation owing to a disease state or an intervention.
