My different experiences in the workplace, competitions and internships, master degree in Sustainable Architecture coupled with a Professional Green Technologies diploma, have provided me with a fundamental basis in the field of architecture. I believe that I have the skills and qualities necessary to be a successful member to any team I am working with. My LEED Green Associate Credential has set out a framework for my research skills. I have gained strong analytical and critical thinking skills through research projects, such as City Street III. Additionally, my master thesis on evaluating environmental impacts of relocating historic structures, the case of Bisri Dam, broadened my skills to objectively deal with the social, economic, environmental, and cultural aspects of large projects, thus analyzing the valley from a sustainable viewpoint. Lately, the Green Technologies Diploma of building and energy specializations is the first of its kind in the Middle East. It offers a professional post graduate study by three accredited universities: American University of Beirut AUB, Lebanese American University LAU, and American University of Cairo AUC. This in-depth information expanded my practical skills, fostered problem-solving competencies, and developed expertise in the field of sustainable practices through a building’s life cycle.My strengths include concept and design phases of a project because I have a solid theoretical and creative basis. I have an experience in quantitative studies. This experience encompasses collaboration with Un-habitat to provide resilient shelters for refugees, NAHNO to study the seashore of Beirut, and Saida Multimodal Intervention project to solve the problem of traffic jams. Filling questionnaires in the mentioned projects have given me the opportunity to strengthen my public speaking and communication skills on a variety of topics, including urban planning, dealing with social problems, and engaging all groups after knowing peoples’ needs. My motto is “Consistency is the key to success”. In my free time, I enjoy sketching abstract drawings, painting in watercolor and pastel, and reading architectural theories.
