The Wisconsin Historical Society recently opened its doors to the new State Archives and Preservation Facility (SAPF). This facility will be the new home to the storage of the museum's collections. My responsibilities include assisting in moving collections from the old storage facility to the new location, and updating the database with location information for objects that are relocated to their new homes.

As an intern for the Loans and Registrar department at the Penn Museum, I was primarily responsible for digitizing documentation for both incoming and outgoing loans the museum had completed in the past (prior to computer digitization). In addition to working with the loans department, I learned additional skills regarding acquisition processing, inventorying collections, and photographing objects when updating records.

Museum Of Anthropology At Rowan University

I catalogue and research anthropological information for the Museum of Anthropology at Rowan University. I also train volunteers and other museum interns in Past Perfect software, used to catalogue and assess artifacts and specimens displayed at the museum.
