Developed a Common Operational Picture that interfaces with any generic network-enabled device with HTML5, Javascript, CSS, and 'push' (websockets) technologies using a Single Page Interface. I also led the implementation of our agile and continuous integration methods (devops) using Maven, Nexus, Jenkins, and Puppet. Designed and developed the flagship management product interface using a SPI with a front-end MVC framework communicating via a JSON API.

Engineered a Key Management Server for a Government Satellite Communications program following the Software Development Life Cycle using SEI-CMMI Level 5 processes. This involved from beginning to end, requirements gathering from the customer, use case development, class diagrams, message sequence diagrams, component and deployment diagrams, state diagrams, developing code, code inspections and reviews, testing, deployment, and maintenance. During the design phase, Rational Rose Real-Time, RequisitePro, and SoDA were used extensively. Through the implementation phase, JSF, JSP, and Facelets were used for the presentation layer, EJB3 was used for the business logic and transaction management, and EntityManager was used as the persistence API and Hibernate for the ORM.Worked on an Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) which tested and enhanced my critical thinking and software systems design skills to produce deliverables for the customer. I assumed the technical lead role where I presented our design to the customer and the NSA. I contributed to the successful completion of the Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Incremental Design Review (IDR) for the ECP.Engineered a message mediation framework using the JBoss SOA platform utilizing an ESB and AMQP messaging via Qpid. The message mediation framework processed XML and VMF messages of one type and transformed them via XSL 1.0 and 2.0 transforms. The messages were then validated and forwarded to subscribers of that new message type. The front-end was developed using FlashBuilder 4, Flex 4, and ActionScript. This program was managed like an agile program with incremental product drops to the customer and QA for testing every 4-6 weeks.

Primary responsibilities included prompt action to Work Order Requests, Product Change Requests, client requirements gathering, and project initiation and development. Projects included a maintainable asset inventory, a work order system, online job application submission, and a time sheet accounting system. All projects followed the agile software development process utilizing pair programming.
