As VP of The DESARA Group since 2008, I manage a consulting team that helps companies develop and implement efficient, effective processes using standards such as ISO 9001, TL 9000, and ISO 27001. We also solve problems related to customer satisfaction, process improvement, and cost reduction using methods such as 6 Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen. In addition to my role as a working/traveling consultant, I managed internal operations including finances, marketing, HR, and customer support, while my partner led business development. Over the years I have taken on more BD and sales responsibilities. My personal expertise as a consultant includes: * Leading major quality initiatives, working closely with all levels from executives through individual contributors * Developing policies, processes, procedures, and work instructions, and ensuring effective document and record control * Developing, delivering, and maintaining training materials/programs on management systems implementation, auditing, corrective action, root cause analysis, and process improvement * Establishing, implementing, and maintaining CAPA systems * Identifying CAPAs, analyzing root causes, developing response plans, and verifying effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions * Providing expert-level guidance to process owners and business leaders on all aspects of the QMS, including CAPA requirements, in multiple environments: Manufacturing, Product Development (hardware and software), Service Delivery (logistics, repair, call centers), and internal processes (supply chain management, marketing, finance, sales, etc.) * Conducting internal audits * Coaching clients in certification audits and CAPA responses * Establishing, collecting, reporting, and monitoring performance metric trends * Identifying and mitigating risks to achieving objectives in both quality and information security
