My standard duties were:- General sales enquires and quoting (specializing in fire shutters)- Drafting and issuing product drawings for manufacturing- Overseeing a products development and arranging delivery dates- Creating handover packs, including D.O.P and labels for products (i.e fire resistance roller shutters)- Door and Hardware Federation (DHF) representative for the company - Liaise with suppliers and order components (i.e lath, motors, control panels etc)- Maintain FPC file (record any NCRs, personnel training or product defects)- Research and develop existing products (including fire testing to EN 1634-1)

Whilst on supply, I held the role of full time class teacher at Casterton Primary school in Burnley. I taught a mixed class of Year 3 & 4. This role was initially temporary, however in October the role became permanent for the rest of the academic year. During this role I was observed by the MIT Team as a result of the academisation of the school. I taught weekly swimming lessons to a group Year 4 pupils, I taught Stage 2 (submerging, push and glide, forward and backwards strokes, retrieve an object from the bottom & swimming 25 meters). I held the position of Year 3 class teacher at a Harwood Park Primary School, in Heywood. This role additional requirements were the attendance of meetings, organising and arranging meetings including off site projects & being the subject leader of The School Council. During my time at Harwood Park, the school had a visit from OFSTED. I received personal feedback which stated that my lessons were Good with Outstanding qualities. Due to a staff absence, I took over the role of Year 6 class teacher at Holy Saviours RC Primary School, in Nelson. During this role I prepared, planned and taught lessons to pupils aged 10 & 11. I oversaw the SATs preparation and ensured children achieved their best possible results and were prepared for the transition to high school.

I worked part time with flexible hours which coincided with my academic studies. My responsibilities were: workshop cleaner, labourer, machine operator & computer maintenance.
