The only full time Chaplain responsible for managing the Religious Support Operations and Chaplain Corps personnel for a 2-star Headquarters Command. Recruited new Unit Ministry Team members, managed vacancies, transfers, and performance issues for 75 Chaplains and 125 Religious Affairs Specialists responsible for providing ministry to 20,600 Soldiers, 424 Civililans and their family members. Accomplished an effective Chaplain Corps ministry program that spanned a 19-state region. Provided conflict resolution for Soldiers and Civilians at the HQs, which also included confidential counseling and suicide intervention. Employed previous project/program management experience in overseeing the Annual Command Chaplain training event. Served as Conference Manager for this event which required the planning, budgeting, scheduling, coordinating and receiving legal reviews for a HQs and subordinate unit event involving 50 attendees (Chaplains and Religious Affairs Specialists) and 12 presenters from across the U.S. Army Reserves.

Served a one-star Command Headquarters responsible for maintaining readiness for Soldiers that support Pre-Deployment, Post-Deployment and Rotational Distributed Forces. Managed the Religious Support Operations for 4,200 Soldiers, 83 Civilians, and Family Mmebers within 9 Brigades and 46 Battalions disperesed across the United States and Puerto Rico. Provided direct ministry and religious suport to the 152 personnel at the Command Headquarters, which included funeral honors, death notifications, and suicide prevention training/intervention. Served as Deputy Command Chaplain while also serving as Associate Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church and School.

Military Police Battalion Chaplain responsible for providing Religious Support to 1200 Soldiers, 25 Civlians, and their Family Members. Provided counseling, worship services, and ceremonies in order to improve the emotionsl, relational, and spiritual well-being of the unit. Advised the Battalion Commander and staff on issues of religious, morale, and welfare during home station activities and a deployment to Ramadi and Tajii, Iraq from 2007-2008. Provided comfort, spiritual advisement, and emergency care to Military Police Soldiers responsible for providing for the care, custody, and control of captured terrorist detainiess during their in-processing and detention. Coordinated with Stateside churches, non-profit organizations, and Soldiers families to provide games, treats and clothing materials for the children of the detainees who came to visit their fathers in our custody.

Marengo, Illinois

Ordained clergy of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod who provided Word and Sacrament ministry to a 2,000 member congreagation and served as School Chaplain for a 300 student parochial day school. Member of a ministry team that consisted of a Senior Pastor, Director of Music, Deaconess, School Principal, and 14 Lutheran School Teachers. Conducted 4 worship services each weekend either as Preacher, Liturgist, or both. Officiated weddings, funerals, prayer services, and conducted pre-marital and grief counseling, as well as conflict management/reconciliation mediation for individuals, staff members, families and couples. Co-leader of Marengo-Union Clergy Alliance responsible for planning the annual Faith and Family Day, a joint community celeberation and fundraiser for the local food pantry. With a $10k budget, the Alliance offered professional Christian musicians (i.e. Danny Gokey) alongwith food/games/craft vendor booths. Performed full time ministry at Zion Lutheran Church and School while also serving as a U.S. Army Reserve Chaplain.

Received approval for $799 street price and achieved successful profit checkpoint with Canon, Inc. to move development from initial concept phase to development phase. Following checkpoint, I requested a Leave of Absence to attend Concordia Seminary to become a Lutheran Pastor.

LaserJet 1200 Engine Manager leading a design team that developed the lowest cost personal LaserJet printer on the market. Managed team of Mechanical Engineers, and Industrial Designer, Image Quality Engineer, Electrical Engineer, and Test Engineer to conceptually create, jointly design with Canon Inc. and test and release for manufacturing the LaserJet with the shortest development schedule to date. Primary caretaker responsible for all aspects of the relationship between the HP and Canon engineering deveopment team. Established close partnershp between HP and Canon management and engineering staff members. Achieved all schedule, production, and price point goals while producing a product that met a sub-$300 price point and a 4% net profit. The LaserJet 1200 delieverd top inductry performance, and recieved market-leading press, while setting a sales/production volume record of over 300,000 units/month. LaserJet 4p Engine Manager responsible for developing the product technical concept, overseeing the design process, and manageing the HP/Canon engineering relationship to bring to market the lowest cost business LaserJet to date. Led a team of Mechanical Engineers, and Industrial Designer, Print Quality Scientests, and a Test Engineer that developed a profitable printer engine, on-time, that exceeded Marketing, Financial, and Performance objectives.
