About Ray Baer
Born in Washington, PA. Spent most of the younger years in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA. Graduated from Georgia Tech with an engineering degree and moved to Dallas, TX to work for American Airlines at their headquarters as an industrial engineer. Later moved to Memphis,TN to marry my present wife Priscilla. Worked for Dobbs airline catering company as an industrial engineer at their headquarters during my Memphis years. Wife's career brought us to Nashville,TN in 1992, where we have lived ever since. While in Nashville, I elected to return to school, graduating with a degree in physical therapy from Tennessee State University. After working 17 years as a physical therapist in multiple rehab settings, I decided to switch course and venture from the rehabilitation side of health care to the wellness side, purchasing an Anytime Fitness gym franchise in late 2013. After owning my gym for 5 years, I elected to sell it in 2019. I returned to physical therapy in late 2019.
