Help to write an app written in Angular for studying for an amateur radio license. I mostly helped with designing and writing the frontend ui of it. We followed material design patterns and used a material design framework for Angular. Worked with node.js, angular.js, git, typescript, vuejs and more.Worked in both frontend and backend code with a focus on the frontend. I enjoy making changes and seeing those changes. I also always want to know why / how something works and will dig into it and learn. Doing this I've spearheaded the move from angularjs to vuejs on our team and have learned and implemented a way to work with vuejs in an angularjs application. I also was instrumental in updating the code to stop using requirejs and start using webpack.Working in a team I have done a lot of collaboration and writing detailed tickets, taking turns going to planning meetings and researching through the code base to understand the tasks needed to implement a feature.

As a missionary I spent all of my waking time serving the people in Ghana and talking to them about Jesus Christ and how the Book of Mormon is another witness of Jesus Christ as is the Bible. Testifying of how much I have been blessed by following His commandments.While serving for the two years I had opportunities to lead, teach, and serve other missionaries. We'd have weekly meetings where we'd have opportunities to teach each other. We were also paired up with another man where we'd have time to study together each day both teach and learn from each other.Being in Africa I was always working with men of different nationalities and cultures and had the opportunity to adapt, grow and learn from them.

Wrote automated tests for the application as well as did manual testing. I was always interested in digging deeper when I found bugs and getting more information on them for writing tickets. The majority of the time I was able to just fix the bug myself and submit code to be reviewed, which was extremely helpful as my team was pretty small, saved developer's time.

Software testing of a web application that runs on CentOS 6. Attended planning meetings with developers and wrote out test plans for what they plan to develop. Used and wrote a lot of python for scripts to help test as well as an automated testing framework written in python. I was also in charge of release management with creating/maintaining a yum repository. I also wrote some scripts for a mostly automated dev yum repository as well as wrote a script to minimize the full CentOS 6 yum repository to contain only packages needed for our product. I started out as QA and transitioned over to software development.

I worked from July 2007 to May 2008 as a regular employee and then became a manager where I took care of any problems that customers may have. Made sure that we got food out with good quality quickly. Taught employees how to do their job and helped them work more efficiently. I was a manager until October 2010. I then spent all of my time in computers working for Stratejive for a few months and came back to working here at the beginning of 2011 till May, where I then started working full time for Perfect Search.

Putting together html templates and installing and maintaining CentOS servers that we used. I could normally fix any problems myself or sometimes I would contact technical support on rented dedicated servers. I also setup an email server for the company's emails.
