Directed standard product new business development. Defining new product, managing engineering development, manufacturing release, and qualification programs for QML compliance of Military Avionics and Space products.Established technology road map and developed over 60 new Mixed-Mode Integrated Circuits and Multi-Chip-Module (MCM) microcircuit standard products targeted for the radiation hardened high reliability military and commercial space satellite market. Successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously from product definition to manufacturing release. Assembled and managed key project teams for each development project. Coordinated team progress and design review meetings and documented action items that need to take place for all phases of product development. Teams included representation from Electrical, Mechanical, Test, Process, Manufacturing and Quality Engineering, Purchasing and Material.

Recruited by industry-leading manufacturer to launch startup engineering design center supporting state-of-the-art product development and to develop cutting-edge integrated circuits for aircraft power control systems. Secured location. Led facility build-out and networking. Recruited technical and administrative team. Put critical business and engineering tools in place including automated test laboratory and cross-functional databases. Oversaw R&D. Personally innovated VHDL model for Mil-Std-1553 avionics command/response data bus terminal.

Recruited to establish sales department for $4 million microelectronics manufacturer. Instituted formal growth strategies encompassing marketing, advertising, trade shows, applications engineering, technical presentations and new product development.Developed worldwide rep network. Drove data communications division growth from $100K to $6 million, total company annual revenue to $14 million.

Responsibilities included design, development, and integration of new avionics databus standard products. Managed project engineering design teams. Technical advisor to customers for defining product solutions to meet their system needs. Core technologies utilized were application specific integrated circuits (ASICs), hybrid microcircuits, MCMs, digital system interfaces, and automatic test equipment (ATE). Responsible for product design, automatic test development, authoring of product data sheets, meeting quality assurance provisions, new product transfer from engineering to manufacturing.
