Responsibilities: leading SQE team to manage Lighting/Electronic suppliers quality in APAC Region.1) Be the quality focal point for the supplier activities directed toward process control and quality assurance of sourcing products, work with supplier to establish a structured approach for consistency and adherence to quality procedures and requirements.2) Work closely with service providers on surveillance audit (quality system assessment, process capability analysis and during-process inspection etc.) for the suppliers and their sub-tier suppliers through quality tools to quality them and drive their continuous improvement.3) Follow up non-conforming from the supplier audit, during-process inspection, pre-shipment inspection, quality complaints from internal customers, product returns and safety recalls. Identify / drive root cause analysis, corrective action and preventive action implementation.4) Support Product Engineering on pre-purchase testing, provide on-site technical guidance to suppliers and monitor them toward assuring product / process compliance with engineering requirements.5) Support Sourcing team on new product launch by new factory pre-qualification prior to on-boarding.6) Tracking, management and reporting for the assigned quality initiative programs.7) Work closely with cross functional teams to eliminate roadblocks & communication barriers that may affect quality and delivery requirements.8) Work closely with US QA team to manage service providers to ensure compliance to relevant requirements from Company Integrity Policy, QA Standard Operating Procedures and MSA.

Symantec: Broadcom Security Division Global leader in Next Generation cyber security, provides security products and solutions combined hardware and software to protect small, medium, and enterprise businesses from advanced threats, malware, and other cyber security.Main product: x86 architecture server, Home Router(consumer), Tablet Responsibilities: leading China SBE team(include ODM SQE, TE and Mech Eng) to manage ODM(Foxconn, MITAC, Pegatron, Advantech TW, AIC TW)/sub-tier vendors(PCB, Mech, PSU, FAN, Packaging cable, SSD, DIMM,ec) in APAC Region. Team management:o Breakdown Goal/objects for China SBE team and assign the tasks for each team member.o Bring up new SBE members to delivery great performance in short while. NPI support including but not limit to PCB tape out review, DFM/DFT/DFA, Mfg plan release, PCBA/system process qualification, MP readiness review, product quality goal definition, driving design team to resolve potential reliability issue before GA. Process improvement: established global supplier managements process from 0 to 1, like ODM quality policy, NPI involvement, quality reporting/meeting and supplier audit program guideline. Set up scorecard (quality, technology, cost, delivery, response and easy doing business) for all ODM and key commodity vendors and keep monitoring and improvement. Maintain great relationship with ODM management team and key sub-tier vendors with personal skillsets. Key commodity direct sourcing including mech, cable, packaging, and support any supply chain operation activities like aging/spot market material handling, ODM quotation evaluation, capacity assurance, quarterly cost saving. be able to effectively manage and galvanize resources within ODM's team to resolve critical Symantec product issues. Work closely with 3PL mfg. engineering, test engineering, business program management and doc control at Symantec to collaboratively improve the delivered product quality and reliability.
